AOC RIPPED TO SHREDS OVER DUMB STATEMENTS ON INFLATION

September 2, 2023

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-New York, came under fire from a mother of four after the politician uploaded a video calling inflation “propaganda.”

On “Fox & Friends First” on Friday, Amber Bergeron remarked, “I’m just wondering how she thinks it’s propaganda.”

Has she looked at the bill for her electricity? Has she compared this year’s grocery prices to those from previous year? She can check out the difference if you open the Walmart app. Given that she isn’t worried about money, I’m curious about her budget. It’s clear that her family doesn’t worry about it. She doesn’t need to be concerned about it. However, I’m perplexed as to how someone could be so clueless.

On Thursday, Ocasio-Cortez reposted a video from the Aotearoa Liberation League to her Instagram Story. This left-leaning organisation with New Zealand roots lists acknowledging “the historic and ongoing harms of colonialism” among its values. It also states that its mission is “to liberate humans from the industry-driven food myths that compel us to harm our bodies, our whenua, and millions of nonhuman animals.”

Inflation, according to the video, is mostly a “propaganda” term used by “corporations” to deflect blame for high costs.

“We often overlook the fundamental truth that businesses determine the prices for their products because the propaganda surrounding inflation and the cost of living is so potent. It’s hardly some kind of monster if a company raises its pricing and then posts record profits. The video claimed, “It’s simply a group of avaricious shareholders.

Bergeron also discussed the truth of her life under “Bidenomics.”

“[It’s] not too good, or at least not for us over here,” she remarked. “Everything is increasing. Our estimated electric bill for the following month is $500. Medical expenses have increased. Insurance rates are rising. And often, if you run into a problem and don’t have the money on hand, you would go and get a loan. For instance, if you need to fix your air conditioner or repair your car. However, the reality is that our truck just broke.

Well, if you stop to think about it, the monthly notes are no longer feasible due to the current high interest rates.

According to LendingClub, 61% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck despite the high rate of inflation.

At the conclusion of it, Bergeron said, “There’s nothing left over.” “We’re managing to make everything function. We are fortunate. My hubby is a hard worker. He is working more hours if doing so implies having to put in more time. He will take care of his family in whatever way is necessary, just like many Americans do. But there are only so many things a father of four can do. And he’s overworked. It’s tough.
