In light of the border situation and an alleged bribery plot, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) declared on Thursday that she is submitting additional articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden.
“Just as I did in the previous Congress, I have now filed articles of impeachment, but I did so in a very unique way. On The Benny Johnson Show, she added, “This time, I made care to draught these so they can be brought up as a privileged resolution on the House floor at any time.
“We know that Joe Biden is not capable of walking upstairs or standing on a stage without being sandbagged, let alone being President of the United States of America,” she continued. “So I would love to see our committees actually do their jobs, bring up articles of impeachment in committee, have hearings and investigations with these so we can get more information out to the American people,” she continued.
We have a complete and total invasion happening at our southern border as a result of Traitor Joe failing to protect the rule of law and fulfil one of his most fundamental obligations to defend the motherland.
She said, “More than 5.3 million illegal aliens have been apprehended entering our southern border.
Boebert asserted that she would present her privileged resolution to the House floor for immediate consideration if the Judiciary Committee did not consider articles of impeachment against Biden.
We may bring up certain items of legislation via a privileged move in the House in accordance with Rule IX. In order to recite my articles of impeachment in their entirety, I would go to the House floor. At that point, the leadership has two days at most to respond and determine whether the matter will be referred to committee or put to a vote on the articles themselves.
She added that the bribery plan allegedly involving Biden and his son Hunter Biden is still being looked into by the Oversight Committee, on which she serves.
“We continue to look into the corruption we believe is occurring with these FD-1023 documents. We are attempting to obtain the 17 audio tapes that are now available, two of which are supposed to have recordings of calls with Joe Biden, she said.
Boebert also backed the articles of impeachment submitted by her colleague and fellow Tennessee Republican, Rep. Andy Ogles, against the president and Vice President Kamala Harris.
