In addition to taking a serious jab at President Joe Biden, former President Donald Trump recently made a significant pledge to the nation should he win the 2024 presidential election.
Trump pledged to establish a “Christian Visibility Day” at a Tuesday campaign event in Green Bay, Wisconsin, after Biden’s announcement of a “Transgender Day of Visibility,” which coincidentally falls on Easter Sunday this year.
And when Biden proclaimed Easter Sunday to be Trans Visibility Day, what the fuck was he thinking? According to Fox News, Trump questioned his fans. “What utter disregard for Christians.”
Nov. 5 would be “Christian Visibility Day” if the presumed Republican nominee for president is elected, he pledged.
Additionally, it will get a new name on November 5. According to the outlet, Trump announced, “You know, it’s going to be called Christian Visibility Day,” to thunderous applause.
March 31st has long been observed as Transgender Day, one of several days designated annually for LGBTQ activism.
Karoline Leavitt, Trump’s national press secretary, has previously described the “Trans Day of Visibility” as “appalling and insulting” to the majority of the American people.
The White House responded to the backlash by claiming in a statement that the criticism of Biden’s statement was polarising.
“As a Christian who celebrates Easter with family, President Biden stands for bringing people together and upholding the dignity and freedoms of every American,” read the statement. “Sadly, it’s unsurprising politicians are seeking to divide and weaken our country with cruel, hateful, and dishonest rhetoric. President Biden will never abuse his faith for political purposes or for profit.”
The ‘image’ announcement was written on the official White House X platform account, reports said, and it came after Biden issued a proclamation on Good Friday that said that “all Americans” should join in lifting up “the lives and voices of transgender people throughout our Nation” while working toward “eliminating violence and discrimination based on gender identity.”
Before posting the following statement on Easter Sunday, the administration caused controversy by announcing in a press release that it had outlawed overtly religious Easter egg designs for an annual art contest: “Today, on Transgender Day of Visibility, I have a simple message to all trans-Americans: I see you.” You deserve respect and dignity since you bear God’s image.
In response to Biden’s statement, actor Dean Cain said, “If people are made in the ‘image of God,’ then why are they getting so many surgeries and hormone treatments?”
“God made both males and females in his likeness when he created man. Gn 1:27,” stated Christina Pushaw, a communications assistant for DeSantis, as reported by The Daily Wire.
Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump tore into his foes on Easter Sunday, particularly those running witch hunts against him.
“Happy Easter to all. Including crooked and corrupt prosecutors and judges that are doing everything possible to interfere with the presidential election of 2024, and put me in prison, including those many people that I completely & totally despise because they want to destroy America, a now failing nation, like ‘deranged’ Jack Smith, who is evil and ‘sick,’ Mrs. Fani (Fauni) Wade, who said she hardly knew the ‘special’ prosecutor, only to find that he spent years ‘loving’ her, long before the Georgia persecution of President Trump began (and thereby making the case against me null, void, and illegal!),” Trump posted on his Truth Social platform.
