FOX NEWS HOST DESTROYS DEMOCRATS WORKING TO KEEP TRUMP OUT OF BALLOT

January 1, 2024

During a show segment this week, Fox News personality Laurs Ingraham contrasted the strategies used by Russian President Vladimir Putin to those used by Democrats to prevent former President Donald Trump from being placed on the ballot in the 2016 election.

These cases—which many think the Supreme Court will dismiss—involve Colorado, where Democratic governors nominated every justice on the court, and Maine, where a Democratic secretary of state was chosen by the state legislature and the voters of the state.

“All right, let’s get past this cloud. Unless something atypical occurs, this will ultimately be reversed by the Supreme Court. What the Michigan Supreme Court accomplished is well known to all. They rejected this absurdity of the 14th Amendment,” she remarked.

“Well, I won’t say it again, but it’s clear that Donald Trump was never accused of “insurrection.” A court never found that he had participated in “insurrection.” In any case, not in a legal sense, so who is really behind this voting suppression that, oddly, the majority of Maine people have declared they oppose? Ingraham went on.

“While I was listening on hold, I noticed that the ACLU has a whole page on their website titled, ‘Protect the right to vote, Maine votes no to voter suppression.'” That was back in 2011. November 9, 2011,” the woman stated.

This is funny, I’m thinking to myself. Like, what is more — what is more suppressive than eliminating a candidate who is leading in the Republican primary in, I think, every state? The host went on, “There is no better definition of suppressive behaviour or conduct.

“Therefore, they are participating in the exact behaviour, which is judicial meddling in the electoral process within the representative democracy, and this is stifling the right to vote on the part of, you know, clearly Maine residents who want to cast ballots for Donald Trump,” Ingraham continued. “However, they have the appearance of being a bipartisan challenge in twelve contests around the nation that are supported by these far-left groups.

“They put together this collection of plaintiffs and say, ‘Oh, this is bipartisan,’ finding some ‘Never-Trump,’ a Republican who became independent, and a liberal or Democrat for the state representative. That was merely a jest. Clearly, it’s not bipartisan, she remarked.

“They decline, or they just don’t want to give the voters a voice. This is an absurd challenge. This decision is absurd. Shana Bellows, the secretary of state of Maine, is an activist on the radical left. In that regard, Trump is correct. The Fox News personality went on, “She is completely biassed.

“She is just like any other district attorneys or local prosecutors who, you know, simply detest the thought of Republican voters being able to cast ballots for the candidate of their choosing, whoever that candidate may be,” the presenter remarked.
