In an interview with Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” the California Republican claimed recently discovered FBI documents about potential overseas bribes and supporting bank records are a game changer.
“This is rising to the level of an impeachment inquiry,” he declared.
McCarthy’s remarks are the most convincing evidence to date that Republicans will seek to remove Biden from office because to his family’s business relationships with Chinese and Ukrainian firms. McCarthy claimed that if the president were to be impeached, Congress would have “the strongest power to get the rest of the knowledge and information needed” to conduct an investigation.
