The House, which is controlled by Republicans, held a vote on a major issue pertaining to immigrants who are currently living in the country illegally. President Joe Biden’s swift reversal of former President Donald Trump’s incredibly successful immigration and border enforcement initiatives is the cause of this increase in population.
The legislature passed a law that forbids the use of public property for the transient housing of unauthorised immigrants while they seek refuge.
The site stated that “the bill, H.R. 5283, passed with a majority of Republicans in support, 224–203,” and that the outcome of the bill in the upper house was likewise inevitable—just not in a fashion that would benefit the GOP.
According to the site, “many Democrats criticised the bill as a messaging tactic for the 2024 elections, where hard-line immigration policies are the cornerstone of the GOP platform. It’s dead on arrival in the U.S. Senate, where Democrats hold a slim majority.”
“The mission of the National Park Service is to conserve the natural and cultural resources for the enjoyment of future generations, not bail out the failed border policies of the Biden administration,” stated House Committee on Natural Resources Chairman Bruce Westerman (R-Ark.).
This occurs in the wake of the GOP-led House’s vote on Wednesday to formally approve its inquiry into the possible impeachment of President Joe Biden.
The Republican-controlled Senate authorised the probe, which will examine whether Biden unjustly profited from his 53-year-old son Hunter Biden’s overseas business ventures, on a party-line vote of 221-212. Earlier, Hunter Biden had turned down a request to testify in private.
The White House has rejected the investigation, claiming it lacks proof and is politically motivated. In preparation for a hypothetical rematch with Trump in the 2024 race, Biden is getting ready for war.
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi chastised Johnson and House Republicans for the action earlier this week.
The California Democrat asserted that Johnson is attempting to provide Republican lawmakers with “a red meat political stunt to distract constituents from their historically unproductive year” by promoting a “baseless impeachment of President Joe Biden” in an MSNBC interview with host Alex Wagner.
“All right, I’m grateful. It’s good to be with you, Alex, particularly at this trying moment for our nation when there are a lot of demands on us to address and numerous obstacles to democracy in both Ukraine and the United States, not to mention that the speaker is following this course,” Pelosi said.
She added: “He says he has no choice the fact is, he has no respect, no respect for the Constitution of the
United States, no respect for his members, whom he’s asking to vote for an impeachment with no basis.”
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), the leading Republican on the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, told Just the News last week that “banks filed at least six reports concerning Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings that flagged President Biden’s home address in Delaware and raised concerns about possible criminal activity involving money laundering or human trafficking,” the outlet reported.
He also said “that the Suspicious Activity Reports (SARS) chronicled about $12 million in transactions over several years, some of which passed through Joe Biden’s Wilmington, Del., home where he had allowed his son to stay,” the outlet noted further.
