JOE BIDEN COMES UNDER FIRE FOR NEGLECTING SLAIN NYPD OFFICER

April 3, 2024

Only a few days after President Joe Biden came under fire for going to a posh fundraiser after the murder of NYPD officer Jonathan Diller, 31, thousands of police officers gathered on the streets near the St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church on Saturday to pay their final respects.

A career criminal with several past offences, including nine felony counts, shot and murdered Diller during a routine traffic check in Queens last week. The funeral procession was preceded by a queue of uniformed NYPD officers, as captured in photographs and video from the event.

Diller leaves behind a young wife and a one-year-old son.

While Democratic officials in the state were advised to avoid attending Diller’s wake, former President Donald Trump was asked to attend. Conservative Brief has not verified the rumours that he paid off the Diller family’s mortgage with a sizable payment to the Tunnel to Towers organisation.

In the meantime, President Biden and former Presidents Obama and Clinton travelled to New York City on Thursday for a star-studded, multimillion-dollar fundraiser. Meanwhile, President Trump attended Det. Diller’s wake, adding fuel to the fire of Biden’s detractors who, according to some reports, had not even gotten in touch with Diller’s wife and family to offer their condolences.

“In the middle of wild left-wing street protests, Biden attends a classy NYC fundraiser; it appears to be a combination of limousine liberalism and the collapse of law and order.” Additionally, Trump is seen at the Long Island wake of a fallen NYPD police officer, according to a post made on the X platform by former conservative magazine publisher William Kristol. It was a “unfortunate day politically for the Democrats,” he added.

Fox News also reported that demonstrators inside and outside the star-studded fundraiser hosted by Biden in New York City repeatedly interrupted it and got into altercations with NYPD officers.

The late officer’s widow, Stephanie Diller, paid a heartfelt homage to her husband:

I would like to thank each and every one of you for your support this week on behalf of the entire Diller family, as I had not had a chance to communicate before now.

Our family has experienced an incredible amount of affection, and we will always be grateful to everyone for that.

Every embrace I’ve ever received makes me imagine that Jonathan gave it to me.

I wish Jonathan was here to see the incredible kindness and generosity that has been shown to our family. But I know in his own way he is here watching over us.

I am so proud that thousands of people across the country are calling Jonathan a hero. But the truth is he’s always been a hero to Ryan and me. The rest of the world is just catching up. Although he was beyond proud to be a member of NYPD, his career was one of his many roles.

I want to also honor Jonathan for who he was out of uniform. I am not sure where to start and I could probably talk about Jonathan for hours, so I’ll start from the beginning:

Jonathan was born and raised on Long Island. The son of Fran and Steven Diller, and brother to Jennifer and Jason. He was the youngest of the three, which obviously means he was the mischievous one.
