A petition to expel Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer from Congress has received over 900,000 signatures from citizens.
According to the petition’s declaration, Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi should be impeached for treason against the American people. The United States Constitution’s Article I, Section 5 states that “Each House” (i.e., the Senate and the House of Representatives) “may determine the rules of its proceedings, punish its members for disorderly behaviour, and, with the concurrence of two thirds, expel a member.”

Shortly after the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which mandates that medical professionals give care for infants born alive following a botched abortion, was approved by the House, Pelosi and Schumer criticised the Republicans for supporting the “extreme” legislation on Twitter.
Rep. Nancy Pelosi tweeted on Wednesday, “Today, instead of joining Democrats to condemn all political violence, [House Republicans] chose to push their extreme anti-choice agenda.”
“Democrats believe that everyone deserves the right to the freedom to access reproductive health services – without fear of violence, intimidation, or harassment.” Added she.
Senator Schumer gave a similar response.
“With legislation that does not even have the support of the American people,” he added, “the MAGA Republican-controlled House is putting on display their extreme views on women’s health.”
According to the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, every child who is born alive after an attempt at abortion or survives the abortion is a “legal person for all purposes under the laws of the United States.”
The kid would need to be kept alive by doctors and other healthcare professionals in the same way that “reasonably diligent and conscientious healthcare practitioner would render to any other child born alive.” Transporting a newborn born at an abortion facility without sufficient medical resources would be the child’s responsibility.
