Rep. Jim Jordan, a Republican from Ohio, recently lost his bid to become the U.S. House speaker. Holding President Joe Biden responsible, he described as “one of his top priorities,” is what he is still intent on doing.
The House Judiciary Committee chairman, Jordan, stated in a Fox News interview that Republicans will determine early in the upcoming year whether to start the impeachment process against Biden.
Jordan stated that while there are still issues to be resolved in the GOP’s impeachment probe, a large number of his followers already believe there is sufficient evidence to convict.
Jordan also made hints that Vice President Kamala Harris and Democratic Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi of California, two people close to Biden, would also become involved in a scandal. Jordan demanded a probe against Pelosi and the January 6 Commission, which is chaired by Democrats, earlier this year. He declared that the Commission ought to look into Pelosi’s knowledge of the events on January 6.
“Jim Jordan, there may be some announcements in a minute or maybe not. Let’s talk just for a moment about the hearing,” inquired Fox News host Larry Kudlow. Yesterday, you served as the deposition’s supervisor. The main takeaway, in my opinion, is that Joe Biden has been lying to us about knowing about his son’s business dealings.
Jordan said, “Oh, sure,” to Kudlow’s question. “He lied during the 2020 debates, and he has been lying ever since.” Would you kindly let us know, sir, what you remember most about this deposition? What caught your attention in particular that you learned?
“Yeah. Mr. Archer said that Hunter Biden, the value he brought to the business operation they were involved in, was the Biden brand. The Biden brand being Joe Biden, this powerful political figure in D.C. And I think you saw that manifest in this meeting that took place that I thought really stood out in yesterday’s deposition, or interview was this meeting that took place December 4th, 2015, in Dubai, where Hunter Biden and Devon Archer are meeting with executives from Burisma, the guys who run Burisma, Mr. Zlochevsky,” Jordan began.
“The Burisma people say we’re under a lot of pressure,” they say during their meeting with them. The assistance of the US government is necessary. Naturally, on December 9, 2015, five days after this encounter, Joe Biden travels to Ukraine and begins disparaging the prosecutor. They now had a phone conversation with “D.C.” at that meeting that took place in Dubai on December 4. I’m not sure who it was now. Mr. Archer stated that he was unsure. He claimed that he wasn’t present when the call was made.
When it occurred, he was in a separate area of the hotel. However, he is aware that a call was placed to Washington, D.C. I’m not sure who they talked to, I don’t know. But again, five days after this, Joe Biden takes action, which is the start of this process that now has become somewhat well-known where Joe Biden a few months later says, where he relates, where he gives this talk to the folks in Ukraine, says if you don’t fire Shokin, the prosecutor, you’re not getting the money,” Jordan added.
Jordan continued: “Ironically, the same thing they went after President Trump for in the impeachment, but Joe Biden says he did it. That all starts in play on this December 9th speech he gives there. Again, five days after this conversation takes place. So, that to me was sort of the big takeaway from yesterday’s interview.”
